Can you open your home to a child in need?

Each month, over 150 children and young people across Sydney find themselves without a safe place to call home.

Whether a result of domestic violence, physical abuse, neglect of basic needs, parental mental illness, disability or family crisis, or simply a lack of family support, these children have experienced significant hardship in their lives.

Sadly, there aren’t enough carers to take these children in. Could you help to provide them with the support and care they need?

Foster Carers Steve and Cathy

Long-time Family Spirit Carers, Steve and Cathy, opened their home and started fostering almost 20 years ago. Caring for their five children and four foster children now between the ages of one and 38 years has filled their lives with much joy, devoting their time, energy and most of all love to them all. Please watch their video below.

“We are all so much richer for having fostered and couldn’t imagine our life any other way,” Cathy said.
